Pat Pat Robat

The idea came from a triangle animation style that I’ve been meaning to try out. At the time, I was also experimenting with random tiling of various graphic elements like logos, hand drawn graphics and icons. I’ve always liked creating chaos and finding ways to work with oppositions.

Ink Ink 2

Some more ink…

Ink Ink 1

I found some ink and I liked it. These are some of the pieces I made during my experiments with the medium.

Then

I found this old picture of Istanbul (early 20th century) and a notebook cover from 60′s belonging to my dad. I liked drawing on them, so I did not stop myself.

Flo-master

Flo-master means “marker” in Turkish. I always liked the name and the bleed it makes when you draw with markers on cardboard surfaces. These are some of the digital illustrations I made using this technique.

0506 Sketches

Some of these elements made it to the final piece, and some did not.
