This holiday piece was illustrated, designed and directed by me. I really enjoyed the character design and overall process of making this piece. Quba Michalski wonderfully executed and co-directed the animation and Dağhan Kök created music and sound effects for it.

For this self-promo I re-interpreted Seljuk and Ottoman miniatures using contemporary design techniques. We released it during the 2005 Holiday Season.

Some of these elements made it to the final piece, and some did not.

Nonsensuality is a result of many random designs created in 2004, shortly after we started imago studio. The different scenes are not really connected either by theme or a story – it’s more of a motion experiment in free association.
